Queensland State Archives Immigration Indexes
The Queensland State Archives website has a range of online immigration indexes. Most give a Z reference which refers to microfilm reels held at Queensland State Archives; copies can be ordered for a fee.

This Queensland State Archives index gives an M reference number and a page number which enables you to find a copy of the original passenger list on microfilm reels held here at the State Library as part of the Queensland public records historical resource kit, part 1 - see entry below.
Queensland public records historical resource kit
Part 1 of this kit covers Queensland immigration records from 1848-1923.
The kit is made up of a card index to immigrants on microfiche and 43 reels of microfilm. There is a handbook guide to the collection which is to be used in conjunction with the records.
Note - you can either use the microfiche index or the online index on the Queensland State Archives website. If you don't find the person you are looking for, try the other source.
