The State Library welcomes everyone! We offer a range of tours and interactive programs designed to help you explore the building and our collections.
All tours and programs are free.
Family History tour
This tour is aimed at beginners and introduces key family history
resources in both the Genealogy Centre on the 1st floor and the Battye
Library on the 3rd floor.
When: Wednesdays 6 June and 4 July, 11.00am - 12.00 noon

Maps, music, microfilm and more – Discover more than just books @ Your State Library
This free guided tour of the Library will introduce you to our unique collections, including the J S Battye Library of West Australian History.
The tour lasts approximately 50 minutes, and tours for groups can be arranged by request.
Tours are available between 9.30am to 4.00pm and must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance.
